Bhanu Potta is a noted global expert in education and learning technologies. Over the past 18 years, Bhanu held key leadership roles at Nokia, Perot Systems, NIIT, Informatics and successfully lead global and multi-national product programs, market expansion, audience & ecosystem engagement at the intersection of Education and Technology in both developed and emerging markets. Bhanu is a frequent speaker & panelist at global conferences and is often consulted on EdTech, mLearning, Instructional Design, Development & Policy, CSR and Product leadership. His professional career started as an educator and educator trainer, teaching computer science, instructional design, product management and he still continues to teach and coach educators. Bhanu has lead and curated many international educator expeditions and exchange programs. Bhanu makes time to mentor young leaders and guides doctoral and post-doctoral research fellows.


Presently, Bhanu is a Partner at ZingerLABS, an advisory and consulting firm. At ZingerLABS, his present engagements include - Senior Advisor at Worldwide Education Group, Microsoft; Advisor to senior management team at Worldreader; Faculty & Advisor on call at Institute of Directors, India on CSR, M4D, SocialTech; Professor of Practice & Executive Coach at Institute of Product Leadership; and Advising few EdTech StarUps and growth stage companies. Past advisory engagements at ZingerLABS were with the British Council, TED, Curtin University, BetterWorldWireless, ChangeCorp.


Most recently, Bhanu was with Nokia as Global Product Leader - Learning & Knowledge Services where he was part of the core team that led global product, audience & partnerships strategy for Nokia Life - the worlds largest mLearning platform. He was instrumental in Nokia Life’s growth to 150+ million users in 21 countries and building a vibrant supporting ecosystem of over 90+ knowledge partners & 25 network operator partners. Before that, Bhanu was Associate Director at Perot Systems heading the Knowledge Management Office where he lead tech-enabled enterprise learning and knowledge management practice. Early, as Head of Internal Services Group at Informatics and Group Leader Systems at NIIT Enterprise Knowledge Solutions, he was leading turn-key e-Learning product programs for international universities and enterprises across the world.


Bhanu has academic qualifications in Computer Sciences, Patents, IP & Copyrights. He is an Institute of Director’s Certified Independent Director on Boards and has executive education qualifications in Evaluation for Development & Policy Influence from Indian School of Business.
